ALMA assists clients in obtaining immigrant visas so they may unite with family members already living in the U.S.

Adjustment Of Status Applications

For clients who are already within the United States with an approved family-based petition and who wish to immigrate, s/he may be eligible to apply for adjustment of status if the priority date for the I-130 petition is current.

VAWA Petitions

Under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), relief may be available for victims of domestice violence married to a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.

Consular Processing

ALMA helps prepare the documentation necessary for a consular visa appointment. This applies to persons outside the United States and certain persons within the United States who need to conclude the processing of their visas at American consulates abroad.

Naturalization Services

ALMA assists persons to determine if they are eligible for United States citizenship. Basic requirements for U.S. citizenship include: Lawful Permanent Residence in the U.S. for at least 5 years (3 years if married to a U.S. citizen).
